Container Lifting & Crane Services

Some container movements require specialised lifting equipment.

RAC Rescue 254 has access to crane lifting capability for situations where a container needs to be lifted, loaded, positioned or moved where conventional towing equipment may not be sufficient.

Before dispatch, we assess:

  • Container size

  • Approximate container weight

  • Lifting points

  • Site access

  • Ground conditions

  • Distance from the truck or crane to the container

  • Overhead obstructions

  • Power lines and other hazards

  • Final positioning requirements

This assessment helps determine the appropriate equipment and recovery method.
